I really don’t know how it’ll hold up yet, but I was told that it’s as durable or fragile as auto paint. Makes sense, because there’s primer and paint underneath the film layer, and then clear over it. The film is just an ink layer on some sort of dissolvable film, which is laid on the surface of a water tank and sprayed with an activator that turns the film back into liquid ink before the part is dipped.
Cost me a couple hundred bucks.
This guy’s Youtube channel is pretty informative. http://www.youtube.com/user/k2concepts#p/a/u/2/lUnFTg59eOk
Film dipped, tell me more. Affordable? How do you think it holds up? I assume that it is clear coated or something?
Awesome look!
